Practitioner Information
At 34, Neil has been training and practising Shiatsu since 1995.
His training began with basic adult education, and now studies and practices with the European Shiatsu School. He is a graduate member and registered with the shiatsu Society, the recognised governing body for Shiatsu in the UK.
Neil is also qualified to use acupunture techniques which he employs during the Shiatsu practice. He feels that this leads to a sensitive blend of healing technique which has been very sucessful.
Neil also teaches martial arts as a profession which compliments his shiatsu practice and study. He believes there is a natural progression with martial arts which leads to a greater understanding of the human body. He therefore combines the understanding of Shiatsu, acupunture and Kung fu which blends to a sensitive mixture of effective martial and healing techniques.
Neil has gained extensive knowledge by travelling through out the world practising and researching martial arts and healing practices and applications. His travels have taken him to China, Taiwan, India, Hong Kong, Thailand, Europe and America. Neil has both worked and trained in India and America.
In parallel to this, Neil also studies and teaches internal martial arts specifically directed to health, vitality and fitness.
Neil also teaches Tai Chi and welcomes new students in this area.
